Job Responsibility:
1. DHO Staff Health Status (Main Responsibility for Occupational Health Officer in SIK DHO)
1.1 Supply of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) to DHO staff, mainly foggers. Equipments are mainly purchased from 3M, as recommended by the state level.
1.1.1 Industry helmet
1.1.2 Overall
1.1.3 Ear muff
1.1.4 Rubber shoes
1.1.5 Gloves ( mainly used during mixing of poison e.g. Malathion )
1.1.6 Safety goggles
1.1.17 Respirator (half coverage) and filter (organic vapor)
1.2 Health screening for those age 35 year and above
1.3 Needle Stick Injury – notification form

2. Hazard Analysis - Klinik desa (19 klinik desa in total in SIK)

3. Health Auditing ( Audit Form For PLKN available as sample )
3.1 Health Clinics
3.2 DHO, Hospital, School, field – once a year
3.3 National Service (PLKN) – 6 times per year (twice for each batch)

4. Healthy Setting
4.1 2 projects for each district
4.2 Project ”Klinik Sejahtera” and ”Kampung Sejahtera”

5. Inspection of Hospital, Foreign Workers Lockup Depot, National Service Camp (PLKN), Quarry, Jail
5.1 Once a year
5.2 Hazards assessent
5.3 Vector, water supply, canteen

6. Workplace Complaints Management
6.1 Investigation
6.2 Advise those who are involved
6.3 E.g. Cow pen without proper management

7. Meeting
7.1 Thrice a year (as a secretary)
7.2 Discuss current issues

8. Enforcement of Tobacco Product Quality Control
8.1 Target: at least 5 compounds each year.

9. Implementation of Strategy Plan from State Level

10. Written Report
10.1 Healthy Setting,Monthly,Mid-year,Year End,Hepatitis B

Primary Issue: Health Problem Among Staff whose Age Above 35 Years Old
1. Early detection of cardiovascular disease risk factor
1.1 Basic data collection
1.2 To examine those above 35 years old
1.3 To refer those who identified with CVD risk factors

2. Early detection of Those who Exceed Recommended BMI
2.1 Basic data collection
2.2 To refer obese staff to Weight Management Program
